Material Handler I

Our client, a leading company in the biotechnology industry, is seeking a Material Handler I to join their team. As a Material Handler I, you will be part of the Production and Industrial department, supporting Procurement, Manufacturing Services, and Finance teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a sense of urgency, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title:Material Handler I - 1st Shift

Location: Fremont, CA

Pay Range: $21.00/hr

Whats the Job?

• Receive, store, and distribute components, chemicals, and finished goods to internal and external customers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure compliance with storage and labeling standards.
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for work and sales orders.
• Perform system transactions for receiving, staging, and shipping functions.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment in various temperature-controlled areas.

Whats Needed?

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience using warehouse equipment such as Forklift and Pallet Jacks preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Ability to lift 25 lbs or more and work in varied warehouse conditions.
• Flexible to work any shift and overtime as needed.
