Machine Operator

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Production Department supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork abilities, a commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work area, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Prineville, OR
Shift: Mon - Fri, 5:30am - 4:00pm
Pay Range: $20 - $22

Whats the Job?

1. Operating a steel door machine, table saw, and other power tools.
2. Machining steel doors to specific specifications and assembling pre-hung units.
3. Using air tools, drills, drill press, and other tools for various tasks.
4. Reading and comprehending specifications, templates, and following safety procedures.
5. Performing miscellaneous related duties as assigned, including manual labor and operating motorized equipment.

Whats Needed?

1. Team player with the ability to maintain a safe and clean work area.
2. Willingness to work overtime as needed and adhere to all PPE requirements.
3. Ability to set up and adjust equipment, perform quality checks, and process transactions.
4. Experience in operating motorized equipment like forklifts and performing minor preventative maintenance.
5. Effective communication skills for ensuring the flow of product through the mill and maintaining production information.
