As an Executive Director RN (Hospice Inpatient Unit), you will report directly to our Area Vice President of Operations. You'll be responsible for management and 24-hour oversight of clinical operations of your assigned hospice inpatient unit (IPU). The Executive Director oversees the coordination of admission of patients to the hospice IPU in a smooth, systematic process, as well as arranging for ancillary services so that they are complimentary. Additionally, the Executive Director will oversee the direction, supervision and evaluation of hospice IPU personnel and volunteers and the coordination of services of all team members of the multi-teamed site and is responsible for ongoing communication with leadership.

About You:

• Registered Nurse with minimum of associate degree in nursing; bachelors degree in nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing preferred
• Masters degree in business, nursing, or related field preferred
• Minimum one year management/supervisory experience required
• Two or more years experience in critical care or acute care (such as ICU, IPU, , Med Surg, ER or emergency room) and hospice/home care
• Three to five years healthcare management experience required
• Experience/working knowledge of life safety code specifications
• Current license to practice nursing in the state of requested employment, if applicable
