Life Enrichment Assistant - Assisted & Independent Living

Overview:

The Village at Victory Lakes, a part of Franciscan Ministries, is hiring a Life Enrichment Assistant who is customer and patient focused to become a part of a healthcare company whose mission is to celebrate life and serve with joy. We currently have a Full time position available in our Assisted and Independent Living Community.

Hours available in Skilled Nursing:

• Full Time:
  • Sunday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Monday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Tuesday 10:30a to 7:00pm
  • Wednesday 8:30am to 5:00pm
  • Thursday 8:30am to 5:00pm

Location: The Village at Victory Lakes, 1075 E Grand Ave, Lindenhurst, IL 60046

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
• Must be able to lead programs and events
• Serve as a liaison for residents families.
• Develops a Life Enrichment program suitable for residents, assist with producing calendar of events and activities to meet the overall needs and interest of residents in Assisted and Independent Living.
• Promote and respect the dignity and well-being of each resident and their family

Required skills and qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associates dress for general studies or medical field, C.N.A
• At least 1 year of experience in activities
• Must enjoy working with the senior population
