Travel Nurse (RN) Med/Surg (Medical-Surgical)

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring aTravel RN - Med/Surg
Shift: Nights/ 7p-7a, 12x3 36hrs/week, EOWLength: 13 Weeks
Holiday Requirement: Rotate in with perm staffNo required call. If they have extra shifts available they will allow travelers to take call if the travelers request
Requirements:

• IL license
• Must have at least 2 years of experience
• Must have experience working in a similar size facility (Level 4/smaller.)
• Musthave experience with limited resources
• BLS
• Pediatric experience is a plus
• Highly prefer previous travel experience
• Highly prefer ACLS and PALS

Other Details:May work with peds occasionallyFloating within skill set. Can float to ICU, L&D, ER and psych to be helping handsCharting System: Cerner Corporation - Millennium# Beds: 37Nurse:Patient Ratios: Days 1:5-6, Nights 1:6Common diagnoses/Types of patients: This is a MedSurg/Tele/Peds unit. Take patients from 1 month old & up. Recently had an increase in pediatric population. RSV, influenzas, antibiotics - peds are not high acuity. Most common patients - adults-geriatrics - general MedSurg/Tele patients: CHF, COPD, cellulitis, ortho, infectious disease, podiatry, GI, chest tubes, COVID, post cath, controlled A-fib, ETOH detox. No Bipap. No neuro coverage - no CVAs. No urology coverage

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).

Estimated Weekly Rate: $2019 per week
