Shift: Nights / 7p-7:30a, 12x4, 48 hrs per week, will consider 36's,must be available to work every other weekend/holiday.

Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• OH License
• 1.5 yearsexperiencein a level 1 or 2 preferred
• EPIC experience
• BLS
• NIH
• Must pass an online EKG competency course
• Travel experience preferred
• Electronic Documentation preferred
• Teaching Hospital Experience preferred

Other Details:

• Local is within 50 miles of home address to contracted facility

Unit participates/may participate in team nursing model where RNs, LPNs, and PCTs partner together to care for a group of patients. The goal of this model is to divide the work and not the patients, ultimately improving both the workload and patient care. Nurses may function in either team nursing or primary nursing depending on the needs of the unit.

Floating and Other Requirements: Traveler must be available to work every other weekend/holiday. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts due to low census per 13-week contract. Premier Health reserves the right to cancel agreement with 2 weeks' notice without fee or fine. Travelers are not eligible for Premier health employee incentives.
Unit Details:Working with Tele/drips-23 bed unitUnit Description: Hospital: Miami Valley Hospital (Level 1 Trauma Center)Medical Surgical Orthopedic patients most commonly taking care of patients with traumatic hip fractures, elective spine surgeries, and other traumatic orthopedic injuries.Most patients require pre/post-surgical orthopedic care, including heart monitors, drains, PCAs, and Ketamine drips. Also, provide care to any med surg patient/overflow.

Pay rate is estimated based on weekly gross income.

Weekly gross pay based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
