Shift: Days / 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hours per week, Mon,Wednesday, Thursday
Length: 13 weeks
Requirements:
- 1 Year Experience
- Associate degree
- BCLS
- ARRT RT (R) registry
- ODH licensure
- CT registry preferred
Beavercreek ED is looking for 1 CT Tech/ xray tech to work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday 7p-7a. This role will float to other freestanding ED departments as needed. CT tech uses GE equipment, X-ray tech equipment is GE, Phillips or Quantam.
Independently performs computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner. Exercises professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
