Position Highlights:

Job Summary
- Verifies physicians orders, performs patient assessments and establishes treatment scheduleand goals.
- Makes recommendations to patients physician regarding their therapy.
- Assists with discharge planning and education of patients, families and other professionals.
- Documents appropriate data (patient assessments, therapy performed, patient responses,educational and discharge instructions.)
- Utilizes necessary documentation tool, i.e., log sheets, treatment cards, and computer logs to verify and record required information.
- Maintains effective communication with patients, families and other professionals to promoteteam effort.
Education and/or Experience
Registered Respiratory Therapist credential issues by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of SD.
Certification
- Current BLS, PALS, NRP and ACLS certifications.
Hours
- 9:00pm to 6:00am, 4 nights a week, occasional weekend, holiday, call time; 72 hours every 2 weeks.
Pay
The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
- $26.25- $39.50 per hour
